How to Safely Remove a Car Battery
Once you’ve gathered the necessary supplies, here’s how to remove a car battery:

• Locate the negative terminal.
  It should have a black plastic cover. Look for a minus (-) sign on or close to the terminal.
• Hold the bolt head in place while removing the nut.
  Use pliers and a wrench to get the job done.
• Remove the negative battery cable.
  Be sure to secure it away from the battery.
• Repeat the process for the positive cable.
  Make sure that the ends never touch! Secure the positive cable so avoid any metal-to-metal contact.
• If your battery is held by a securing bracket, remove the screws and bolts.
  Use your wrench to take out the screws and bolts that hold it in place.
• Lift the battery out of the bracket.
  Keep in mind that the battery may weigh up to 40 pounds! Get a steady grip and good leverage before lifting, and make sure you have a safe spot to set the battery down.
• Dispose of your battery properly.
  Because you can’t put a car battery in your household trash or recycling, the last step is finding a local disposal center online.

How to Make Your Own Car Freshener
Making your own air freshener is easy! Try one of these two methods:

• Clay disc and essential oils
  Clay discs, used to hold the essential oils, can be found at your local craft store or online. Just rub a generous amount of oil on the disc and let it soak in before placing your new air freshener in your vehicle!
• Mason jar
  This method requires basic items you likely already have at home. Use the lid of a small mason jar to trace a circle on some cardboard, then cut it out. Next, poke holes with a nail and fill the jar halfway with baking soda. Add a few drops of essential oil before replacing the jar’s metal ring with the cardboard circle. Secure it with the ring and place the jar in your cup holder!
